~ Santisima Muerte Beltane Ritual ~

Beltane is a day for fertility rites, light-hearted celebration and sexual revelry, for love-chases, maypole dancing and performing the Great Rite to honour the Mother: make May Baskets and weave flower garlands – choose a May Queen to represent the Goddess – wear green and crowns of flowers – dance naked in the crops or ride a broomstick through the fields, for the fertility of the land – leave offerings for fairies – gather in sacred groves – pay homage to your household gods.  In the Wheel of the Year, the Goddess and God reach young adulthood; both are in their green prime.  They become lovers and consummate their union.

We will be lighting candles specially prepared and blessed with oils and herbs especially prepared for this ritual then placed at the altar of La Santisima Muerte for the purpose of bringing aide to our workings in areas of self-love, beauty, relationships, marriages, pregnancies and other areas in which the seeds we planted at Ostara need to come to fruition.  The ritual may be recorded and uploaded to our website via YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

~ Santisima Muerte Irish Luck Prosperity Ritual ~

* This is a modified version of our annual Santisima Muerte Irish Prosperity Ritual performed by members of Ye Olde Dark Arts Coven-Tradition which has turned into a very fun gathering for all and we hope to be able to open it up to others of like mind in the near future *
What started as a simple gathering to help us start our way towards planting seeds of prosperity on this day has become a huge gathering of fun, laughter, food and of course MAGICK!  We begin by setting up an altar for Saint Patrick and the ancestors using the colors green, white and gold, we add decorations such as cauldrons with gold coins, fake money, shamrocks, flowers, candles a second cauldron to burn our requests on, paper and pen, incense and for those that want to bring a pic of their ancestors or their names can simply be written on a piece of paper and placed on the altar. .  We like to think of this ritual as tilling the soil of our garden before we plant the seeds of Ostara which we perform a few days later .
We start by cleansing everyone in attendance one at a time, then after they are cleansed everyone is instructed to each take a paper and pen, sit down and clear their minds and think about what they would like to prosper more at, what debts they want to clear up, where they would like guidance with a situation that seems to have no resolve, maybe a bit of luck getting a long sought after promotion. Once this is done and everyone is instructed on how to fold the papers, we begin with the following prayers:
SANTISIMA MUERTE INVOCATION FOR DEBT
Hail Santisima Muerte,
I come before you today to ask for a financial blessing to improve my life.
My faith keeps me strong, and I know you will provide for me and the people I love.
I do not seek a large sum of money. I do not trouble you for unneeded comforts
or luxury. I only ask for enough money to relieve my financial woes and ease this stress.
I give unto you here on this paper, the burden that I carry knowing you will aide me in relieving it.
So Mote It Be.
INVOCATION FOR EMPLOYMENT
Santisima Muerte,
I turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as I look for suitable employment.
I need your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path,
and to lead me to find the proper things to say and do in this quest.
I wish to use the gifts and talents that have been given me,
but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment.
Aide me Santisima Muerte to grant me this favor I seek so that I may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance. So Mote It Be.
Once these prayers have been recited each person is to then place their request in the burning cauldron so that his/her request is carried upwards to Santisima Muerte and a candle that has been prepared is lit.  Next each participant is given a plate that has a bit of food that is offered to Santisima Muerte to help in aiding your request.  Once this is done the participants themselves can sit down and enjoy the food themselves to ground them.
